On August, 20, 2010 in Lviv (Ukraine) the festival «Week of actual art» began. It is one of the most noticeable and important events in the contemporary art of Ukraine. «Totem» Center presents our projects on this festival second times. This year in Lviv Palace of Arts we show photo-exhibition of «Lucid Dreaming» and video «Liquid television».

In July-August in Lyublin (Poland) an exhibition «Ukrainian Cross-Section», that overcame over 100 works of 38 Ukrainian artists, take place. It is an attempt to outline what is Ukrainian contemporary art today. On this exhibition photo "Class-mates" by "Totem" Center art-director Max Afanasyev was presented. These photos are very ironical, and exactly this fact does them clear for Polish spectator: in fact, in Poland people also joke about that who unite not by common ideas but by only circumstance that they studied at the same school...

On the 27 of June, the Day of Youth, on the main street of Kherson the all-Ukrainian festival of break-dance "Battle for the Sun" began. The festival was supported by our program "Your Dream is close to you!", and we are glad that the guys made everything really well! 40 best break-dancers from Kherson and Ukraine - you have see this report!

For the second time "Totem" Center took part in unique festival, which takes place in the village of Popovici, on the ruins of defensive forts of the First World War, just a few meters from the Ukrainian-Polish border. During four unforgettable days we created four land-art objects, and all of them differ greatly.

Street youth, street children - every day they are fighting for their place under the sun. Everyone knows what it's like, but few people think that this can be done. Initiative group, known in town as JB Crew, was originally united by the idea of street dance - break-dance. The boys came into the program "Your Dream Next to You!" and made their first step towards social responsibility.
