As an inspiration for the works - photos, performances, video, objects - authors have chosen 5 objects from a museum collection. Objects will be exhibited in closed boxes, but they will open to those spectators who together with authors will make their way from simple contemplation of a museum piece to its "animation" by means of the modern art and their imagination. Thus, spectators will be offered an original «museum quest» which result becomes difficult, but interesting transition - from the Transcendental object (a subject from museum collection in the closed box) to the Transcendental object (a subject in perception of the artist and the spectator).

Svetlana Ostapova, the director of the Odessa municipal museum of personal collections of A.V.Bleshchunova:
«Since 1999, we carried out more than ten exhibition projects on a museum platform, which varied under the maintenance and target audience. They had one thing in common - all of them have been integrated into constant exposition, co-operated with it and forced the visitor, having passed on all museum, to see familiar exhibits from different angle, to feel new senses. It is really actual problem - «to recover» traditional museums with combined efforts of modern artists and the museums».

Elena Afanasieva, one of curators of the project (group "Òîòåì", Kherson):
«In the project «Transcendental object» we have tried to build communications between subjects of a museum collection and a life in its most different displays. Spectators will see scenes of love and hatred, struggle against self and against an external world, hints on a mass culture - all that, on what the things stored in a museum have inspired the authors. Yes, we hide things from the spectator, but, after the Êànt, we assert that the form of a comprehended thing entirely is defined by activity of human intelligence - that is what we sincerely expect from spectators».
